Lifting Gantry Direct is dedicated to  gantry crane systems and crane accessories.
We manufacture our own bespoke lifting gantries, A-frame gantry and mobile gantry systems as well as Swing Jib cranes. They are made from quality materials by our team of experienced fabricators. We also have a team of qualified engineers who add any power required and carry out installations, repairs and inspections where needed. Based centrally within the West Midlands, we are well located to serve the whole of the UK. Whether just to deliver your products or a full installation of your chosen crane and lifting accessories. We can sometimes arrange for site visits to discuss your needs in finer detail, although it is not usually necessary for a mobile gantry. A visit may be preferable with certain types of Jib cranes and most certainly with a light crane system. This not only helps us to better understand your lifting requirements but will also ensure you get the best crane arrangement to meet your needs.

Custom Lifting Gantry Cranes

When you need a gantry crane for something very specific it is usually better to go direct to the manufacturer rather than just a supplier. A frame gantry manufacturers like ourselves can discuss your specific requirements and give you some different options. The mobile gantry can then be custom made to your exact specifications. Choose your height of lift needed, the span of the gantry, the safe working load up to 5000kg, castors for portability and/or parking jacks for uneven ground.
Other choices include the addition of electrical components, typically used when powered hoists are to be used. Catenary systems, festoons, isolator switches and powered trolleys can be added by our electrical engineers during manufacture.

Lifting Gantry / Mobile Gantry / A-Frame Gantry

Our most popular products! Customisable to suit your lifting requirements. A mobile gantry consists of 2 side ‘A’ frames with a top beam connecting them. The A frames may be floor mounted with bolts or be made mobile with the addition of heavy duty, load rated castors. The top beam is where you will add a beam clamp or trolley and a hoist in order to lift your loads. Parking jacks add more stability, especially where the ground is uneven. The largest gantries we produce have a 5 metre under beam lifting height, a 5 metre span and a 5000kg safe working load. All mobile gantries should not be moved whilst under load.

Our Crane Services

To complement our crane systems and accessories we can also provide delivery and installation services. We an also often accommodate servicing and repairs to all lifting equipment. Trained engineers can also carry out your essential annual or bi-annual inspection to comply with LOLER and HSE.
